CT of the Chest
Basics: What is a CT of the Chest?
To come.
Discussion of images above:
Approximately 6 x 9 cm region of scattered infiltrates with a rosette appearance, involving the left upper lobe and to a lesser extent the lingular region. This most likely represents an inflammatory process such as community acquired pneumonia, however, it is non specific in appearance, and less common pathologies such as bronchial-alveolar carcinoma, and eosinophilic pneumonia, as well as a number of other etiologies could present with this appearance. Close follow up suggested.
